Bryn aspires to augment human creative expression, communication and social interaction, learning, health, and the general conscious experience by interfacing neuroscience, music, and technology in new ways. A recent graduate of Brown University (Sc.B. Neuroscience '14), she is now a Master's student at the MIT Media Lab, where she is a member of Tod Machover's Opera of the Future group at the MIT Media Lab.
A versatile keyboardist, singer, composer, producer, and sound designer, Bryn is involved in a variety of live and recorded music projects in the Boston and New York areas. Bryn has performed with artists including Melissa Aldana, Kurt Rosenwinkel, the DIVA Jazz Orchestra, Bill Gibson (Huey Lewis and the News), and Tal Morris (Creedence Clearwater Revisited), and has recorded with up-and-coming soul singer Rozzi Crane, saxophonist Mel Martin, and world-champion accordionist Cory Pesaturo. She has been featured at events honoring Brown University President Christina Paxson, Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals founder George Wein, and conductor Daniel Barenboim, and has played at prominent Providence venues including the VETS Memorial Auditorium, Fête, and AS220, as well as the Berklee Performance Center in Boston.
